Where our members work
About the club
Talk-Masters is where nervous first words become confident speeches.
Students and retirees, engineers and artists, people new to the city and people who've lived here all their lives. Everyone practises together, and everyone improves at their own pace.

The conversation carries on over dinner.
Feedback that's kind
Every speech gets an evaluation: what worked, and one thing to try next time.
Every role is practice
Keep time, introduce a speaker, lead the meeting. Each job builds confidence.
Your own path
Toastmasters Pathways lets you choose what to work on, from storytelling to leadership.
Our mission
We provide a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop their communication and leadership skills, which results in greater self-confidence and personal growth.
Who it's for
Anyone who wants to be heard.
One room, every stage of life. Members join to ace an interview, lead a team, pitch an idea or simply speak up with confidence.
In their own words
What really changed?
Members, unscripted, on what changed once they started showing up and speaking up.

Talk-Masters gave me a warm, empowering environment that taught me to think on my feet, organise my thoughts and speak with impact. For someone who grew up on the back bench, it was a true transformation.
Edwin SunnyImmediate Past President Today, I may still feel nervous, and I may still make mistakes, but I no longer see them as reasons to stop speaking.
Noufal AboobackerSergeant at Arms There was something almost enigmatic about the vibe of Talk-Masters: the energy, the warmth and, most importantly, the people.
Prathiba LeoTEDx speaker and communication coach I have moved from feeling intimidated when speaking to senior people to expressing my thoughts more confidently in front of groups, colleagues, and audiences.
Nabeel BavaTreasurer I joined Toastmasters to find my voice. Along the way, I discovered my purpose: helping others find theirs.
Hadi AbdulkaderPublic speaking trainer You already have the knowledge. Toastmasters helps you find the confidence to share it.

Plan a talk and give it to a friendly room, starting with a short speech about yourself.

Table Topics
Answer a surprise question for one or two minutes, and learn to think on your feet.

Evaluations
After every speech, a fellow member gives kind, specific feedback on what to try next.

Leadership
Run part of the meeting as timer, evaluator or host, and practise leading a room.

Will I be called on to speak?
Only with your consent: we always ask before calling on a guest. Speakers here don't shy away from an opportunity, and a short impromptu topic is a great first one to take.
When should I arrive, and where do I go?
Arrive from 10:15; we start at 10:30 and finish at 12:30. We meet in a room inside Hor Al Anz Public Library, Dubai.
Is there parking, and is food included?
Parking is free on Sundays. Breakfast is included, with a 15-minute break to eat and meet everyone.
Who can join?
Everyone. Our members come from every age group, gender and background: students, professionals, parents, career changers and retirees.
Does it cost anything to visit?
Visiting as a guest is free. Membership dues are confirmed by the club; ask us at any meeting.
What happens at a meeting?
Two structured hours on a Sunday morning: prepared speeches, impromptu Table Topics and supportive evaluations, all kept on time by a timer with green, amber and red lights.
I'm a complete beginner. Is that okay?
That's exactly who Toastmasters is for. Everyone starts somewhere, and you'll progress at your own pace with a mentor.
